Our Lady of Senaque
Notre-Dame de Sénanque is a Cistercian abbey located in the town of Gordes. It was founded in 1148 by Cistercian monks, burnt down during the wars of religion in 1544, it was abandoned. Finally it was invested again in 1988 by a small community of monks who thus reconnected with centuries of Cistercian tradition. Stéphane Bern has also mobilized and worked to come to the aid of the abbey church in danger. By declaring Sénanque a national cause and registering it in the Loto du Patrimoine, the latter contributed to raising the necessary funds for the conservation work. Today the nearly thousand-year-old abbey is saved and it was with emotion that Stéphane Bern discovered the quality of the restoration. This Abbey nevertheless remains in use and is still inhabited today!
Luberon Regional Nature Park

Almanarre beach
Long beach of nearly 5 kilometers is located along the salt road, one of the two sand tongues which mark the exceptional character of the peninsula of Giens.
When the Mistral blows, there are a large number of high-level windsurfers and kite surfers. Depending on the strength of the wind, the sea can then be rough and present a superb wild character. The sand is white and the low water level allows children to enjoy swimming in complete safety. By east wind, this beach is protected and the calm that reigns lets you discover the colors of turquoise water.
