The short answer: COP's marketplace covers 30+ destinations across three regions. Europe: France (Côte d'Azur, French Alps, Provence, Paris), Spain (Mallorca, Ibiza, Costa del Sol, Sotogrande), Italy (Lake Como, Tuscany, Lake Garda), Portugal (Algarve, Lisbon area), UK (Cotswolds, London, occasional Lake District). United States: Aspen, Lake Tahoe, Park City, Napa, Palm Springs, Miami, Hamptons. Mexico: Cabo San Lucas, Riviera Maya. We add destinations as operators in our partner network expand inventory and as buyer demand justifies coverage.

Destinations we don't currently cover
Three categories of destinations where COP doesn't currently have meaningful inventory. First, emerging markets without established single-property co-ownership operators (Bali, Greek Islands beyond limited inventory). Second, destinations where the fractional market is currently too thin to justify dedicated coverage. Third, destinations where the local regulatory environment makes the LLC structure complicated (some Eastern European destinations).
We track these markets and add coverage as inventory and operator quality justify it.
How destinations get added
Three drivers. First, when an existing partner operator expands inventory into a new destination, that destination joins our marketplace automatically. Second, when buyer demand for a destination crosses a threshold (consistent enquiries with no inventory match), we actively seek operators in that market. Third, when a new operator joins our partner network bringing their existing inventory along.
Why this destination set
The destinations COP covers reflect where single-property co-ownership inventory genuinely exists. We don't list destinations where no qualifying operator inventory is available — that would mislead buyers. The category is concentrated in established luxury second-home markets where institutional-quality operators have built fractional structures over the past 5-15 years. The destinations we cover represent broadly the global single-property co-ownership market.
What's coming next
Three directional trends we're tracking. First, Italian inventory expansion (Tuscany and Lake Como specifically) as European operators scale into Italy. Second, US East Coast expansion (Florida, Hamptons) as US fractional broadens beyond mountain resorts. Third, the gradual addition of more Portuguese inventory beyond the Algarve as that market matures.

The COP marketplace includes a destination filter that returns current inventory for any destination we cover.
